“This is to die for!!!!!!!” ~ Mama Peggy
This ice cream cake is super chocolatey, super sweet, and way better than it has any right to be for using just three grocery-store ingredients. It tastes like a cross between a Dairy Queen cake and an extra-creamy sundae.
Ingredients
- ▢ — 1 large box of 24 ice cream sandwiches (Pet is best)
- ▢ — 2 (12 oz) containers of Cool Whip or equivalent
- ▢ — 1 large bottle of Chocolate fudge topping
- ▢ — 1 cup pecans and / or favorite fruit (Optional)
Instructions
- ▢ — Place one layer of sandwiches in a 9x12 Pyrex dish.
- ▢ — Cover with Cool Whip.
- ▢ — Place another layer of sandwiches in pan
- ▢ — Cover with Cool Whip again.
- ▢ — Make a garnish of strawberries or other fruits, pecans, or combination.
- ▢ — Squirt ice cream topping in a pattern over the dessert and place in freezer until ready to serve.
